An act to amend Section 27500 of the Penal Code, relating to firearms.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

AB 2229, as introduced, Grove. Firearms.

Existing law prohibits specified persons from owning, purchasing, receiving, or having in their possession any firearm. Existing law prohibits selling, supplying, delivering, or giving possession or control of a firearm to those persons.

This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

Section 27500 of the Penal Code is amended to

5firearm to any person within any of the classes prohibited by
