California Legislature—2015–16 Regular Session

Assembly BillNo. 1342

Introduced by Assembly Member Steinorth

February 27, 2015

An act to amend Section 39800 of the Education Code, relating to pupil transportation.

AB 1342, as introduced, Steinorth. Pupil transportation.

Existing law authorizes the governing board of any school district to provide for the transportation of pupils to and from school whenever, in the judgment of the governing board of the school district, the transportation is advisable and good reasons exist therefor.

This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.
