An act to amend Section 13399.39 of the Water Code, relating to
water.

SB 304, as introduced, Morrow. Storm water.
Existing law, the Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act,
requires the State Water Resources Control Board to prepare and
submit to the Legislature on May 1 of each year a report that
summarizes the enforcement actions undertaken in the previous
calendar year regarding the discharge of storm water.
This bill would change the date on which the report is due to June
1 of each year.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 13399.39 of the Water Code is amended to read:
13399.39. On or before May 1, 2000, and on each May
June 1 thereafter, the state board shall prepare
and submit a report to the Legislature summarizing the enforcement
actions undertaken in the previous calendar year under this division
with regard to storm water discharge and the results of those
actions. The report shall include an assessment with regard to the
extent of compliance with requirements relating to the discharge of
storm water in this state.
