   An act to amend Section 302 of the Public Utilities Code, relating
to public utilities.

   AB 2447, as introduced, Diaz.  Public Utilities Commission.
   The Public Utilities Act requires each commissioner, before
entering upon the duties of the office, to take and subscribe the
constitutional oath of office.
   This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to that
provision.
   Vote:  majority.  Appropriation:  no.  Fiscal committee:  no.
State-mandated local program:  no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:


  SECTION 1.  Section 302 of the Public Utilities Code is amended to
read:
   302.  Each commissioner shall, before entering upon the duties of
his  or her  office, take and subscribe the constitutional
oath of office.
