   An act relating to energy resources.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 1966, as introduced, Campbell.  Energy resources:  hydrogen.
   Existing law provides that it is the policy of the state to
establish and consolidate the state's responsibility for energy
resources and for encouraging, developing, and coordinating research
and development into energy supply.
   This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to develop
incentives for the use of distributive generation to produce
hydrogen.
   Vote:  majority.  Appropriation:  no.  Fiscal committee:  no.
State-mandated local program:  no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:


  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to develop
incentives for the use of distributive generation to produce
hydrogen.
