AB 1235, as amended, Leslie. Generation facilities: sale or

and the two run-of-river hydroelectric project located on the
Wapatox Canal on the Naches River in the State of Washington
from these provisions.
The bill would declare that, due to the unique circumstances of
the 4 four run-of-river hydroelectric
project works located on the Truckee River and the two
run-of-river hydroelectric project located on the Wapatox Canal on
the Naches River in the State of Washington , a general statute
cannot be made applicable within the meaning of Section 16 of
Article IV of the California Constitution, and the enactment of a

This bill would declare that it is to take effect immediately as
an urgency statute.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 377.1 is added to the Public Utilities Code, to

preservation of the public peace, health, or safety within the
meaning of Article IV of the Constitution and shall go into immediate
effect. The facts constituting the necessity are:
In order to ensure that the public's best interest is served and
to assist in the implementation of the Truckee River Operating
