                                        DESCRIPTION
           
           This bill  corrects several erroneous cross references in statutes  
          created and amended by AB 29X (Kehoe), Chapter 8, Statutes of 2001.

                                        BACKGROUND
           
          AB 29X was one of two bills to direct money into a series of energy  
          efficiency and conservation programs here in California.  The author  
          has identified several erroneous cross-references (i.e. references  
          to incorrect or non-existent code sections) and corrects them in  
          this bill.

                                         COMMENTS

          1.Correcting The Corrections  .  The author may wish to consider  
            additional technical amendments:

             q    On Page 2, Line 10, the word "authorized" should be replaced  
               with "defined".  
             q    On Page 4, Line 21, the reference to Section 15357 should be  
               replaced with Section 15351(e)(2).
